SACRAMENTO, Calif. – December 16, 2021 –   The joint venture of RevOZ Capital and Argosy Real Estate Partners has unveiled their newly redeveloped state of the art mixed-use office and retail experience in downtown Sacramento, California.

Located at 660 J Street and renamed SIXSIXTY at Downtown Commons, the 120,000-square-foot Class A mixed-use commercial, low-rise building is situated on one of the city’s most connected intersections, adjacent to Golden1 Center, home of the Sacramento Kings, and an abundance of other vibrant retail, restaurant, and entertainment destinations in the heart of downtown.

The four-story building is currently leased to three ground floor retail tenants, while the 97,000 sf of office space on the above three floors is currently vacant. The approximate year-long transformation of the building includes a full interior and lobby renovation, new tenant amenities, and re-skinning of the exterior envelope with new floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows. There is also a new high-end rooftop lounge designed for employee business and social uses.

SIXSIXTY is LEED certified, IWBI Well Certified and incorporates several features in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, including improved air circulation and filtration and enhanced touchless systems. Equipped with the latest in high-tech, SIXSIXTY provides a unique remote tenant experience with a Bluetooth retrofitted access control system enabling remote access and mobile phone application for up-to-date stakeholder communication and engagement.

A Cushman & Wakefield team comprising Ron Thomas, SIOR, Bruce Hohenhaus, SIOR and Kevin Goldthwaite are leading the Project Leasing efforts.

“We are amazed at what RevOZ and Argosy and their project teams are bringing to downtown Sacramento with this inspiring and thoughtfully designed, experiential setting that delivers a seamless work and play environment in a smarter, healthier and versatile workplace. This premier building offers the characteristics and functions today’s employers and employees desire, particularly as they evaluate safe, effective ways to want to return to the office. Additionally, it is a workplace that should positively impact talent retention,” said Ron Thomas, Executive Managing Director.

Thomas continued, “Situated at the doorstep to DOCO, this reimagined building is located in one of the hottest cities in the Western US, and we expect it will be a very attractive option for companies from within Sacramento and the neighboring SF Bay Area, as well as across California and other states for which Sacramento continues to be a primary or expansionary home for companies migrating from those markets.”

Ryan Parkin, Founder and Managing Principal at RevOZ Capital added, “Our team is transforming the building to a best-in-class project that offers tenants and employees a unique amenitized environment that is unmatched in Sacramento. From the Golden1 Center at Downtown Commons to the eclectic mix of the K Street Corridor and stretching out to the transforming Railyards and R Street, Sacramento’s urban core is booming. And SIXSIXTY will put tenants in the front row of it all in the best office environment available.”

In addition to the numerous surrounding amenities and entertainment venues, SIXSIXTY is a short walk to Light Rail and Amtrak and within minutes to multiple freeways and the Sacramento International Airport. The location is also a few hours to significant regional destinations including San Francisco and Lake Tahoe.

SIXSIXTY also provides ample parking via direct elevator access from the on-site subterranean garage.

“660 J St is a critically positioned asset in downtown Sacramento and its proximity to the urban core and our entertainment amenities is essential. Opportunities like this don’t come around often,” said Michael Ault of The Downtown Sacramento Partnership. “It is very exciting to see downtown’s momentum continuing.”
